Tupper Lake Golf Club Wraps Up an Exciting 2024 Season with Big Wins and High Hopes for 2025

The 2024 season at Tupper Lake Golf Club ended on a high note with the much-anticipated Closing Banquet, where members came together to celebrate a year of competition, growth, and camaraderie. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards, honoring some of the club’s most dedicated players.

This year saw impressive performances across the board, with Jim Dukette taking home the Hull Trophy Championship and Bauer Callaghan winning the Junior Hull Trophy, showcasing his talent and potential for the future. Bauer’s victory is particularly exciting for the club, as it signals a new generation of young golfers stepping up in the competitive scene. Meanwhile, Jim Boucher’s dominance in the Presidents Cup and his recognition as the Most Valuable Player demonstrated his consistency and leadership throughout the season.

Other notable champions include Mary Shaheen, who claimed the Women’s Club title, and Wayne Roberts, who captured the Senior Club Championship. The Men’s Club title went to Nate Shaheen, showing the Shaheen family’s continued strong presence at the club. The Second Flight Club Champion was John Rabideau, while special awards went to Randy Bedore, who received the Fairways & Facebook Award, and Ron Belleville, honored with the Golfaholic Award. Pete Edwards received the Grateful Dead Award, rounding out a diverse set of honors that reflect the unique spirit of the Tupper Lake community.

The event also saw a tremendous show of generosity, with a raffle featuring a donation by Pro Golfer John Clare. Clare’s donation of a TaylorMade Qi10 driver raised an impressive $1,260, which will go directly to supporting the High School Golf Team, a cause close to the club’s heart.
